Fur Real

Hi there, I'm up on the Ink Road Blog with a card perfect for anyone with a furry friend in their life. Let's jump right in to how I put this cute card together.
I stamped the cute pug from the BORK stamp set from The Ink Road Stamps and gave him some color with Copic markers.
I stamped and cut a mask for the pug so I could create a background for him. I used the Between the Lines stamp set from The Ink Road Stamps. I used Cobblestone dye ink from Simon Says Stamp as well as Mermaid dye ink from Lawn Fawn.
I used the Speech Bubble Border die from Lawn Fawn to cut the speech bubble for the pug. I used sentiments from The One With All the Stamps and the Fur Babies stamp sets from the Ink Road Stamps. I flipped the paper over before I stamped the sentiments to make the speech bubble on the other side of the pug. I added some foam tape behind the speech bubble panel for some dimension and some enamel dots for some interest.
I love these two sentiments paired together, it was a nice nod at how our furry friends love us unconditionally. I hope you give this card a try. Thanks so much for stopping by today. I'll see you soon.

Blossoms on Kraft

Hi there, I'm up on the Ink Road Blog with a soft floral card that is perfect to tell someone that they're adored. Let's get right into how I put this pretty card together.
I took the pretty blooms from the Chin Up Buttercup stamp set from Ink Road Stamps and stamped them on kraft using Cobblestone dye ink from Simon Says Stamp.
I used freshly sharpened Prismacolor colored pencils and light strokes to color the flowers. I went back in with the white pencil on the outer part of the petals for some contrast.
To fill in some space and to add a little interest to the card, I added the trio of dots from the Bloom Where You Are Planted stamp set. I used Khaki dye ink from Simon Says Stamp and added some Ranger Glossy Accents for some dimension and shine.
I used the same Cobblestone ink and the sentiment from the Modern Romance stamp set. After I stamped the sentiment with ink, I went over it with clear embossing powder for some shine. I trimmed the panel slightly and added it to a white card base and tied some twine from May Arts. I hope you give this card a try. Thanks for visiting today, I'll see you soon.

Happy Mother's Day

Hi there! I'm up on the Ink Road Blog with a simple stamped Mother's Day card. Easy to make and mass produce for all of those wonderful moms out there. Let's jump right in to how I put this card together.
Glittered embossing powder is such an easy way to dress up a card, I used Gold Tinsel embossing powder from Ranger and that beautiful Happy Mother's Day stamp from the Ink Road.
For the flowers, I used the Bloom Where You Are Planted stamp set from the Ink Road. I used Poppy dye ink from Studio Calico. From Simon Says Stamp, I used Cotton Candy, Apricot, Green Apple and Green Leaf dye inks. Lastly, I pulled in some Sunflower dye ink from Lawn Fawn.
To dress up the card and to add a bit of dimension, I added enamel dots to the centers of the flowers. It was a great way to use up all of those random enamel dots that I'm so great at collecting.
That's the finished card, super easy right? I hope you give this card a try. Thank you so much for stopping by today. I'll see you soon.
