Hello there! I'm up on the Ink Road Blog again with a simple shabby chic faux chalkboard card to motivate someone you know to keep being amazing!

I was inspired by Lara's Bun Intended stamp set, the sentiment is so much fun! Let's get into how I put this fun card together.

I used some lined acetate to line up the alphas from the Block Party Alphas, Outline stamp set from The Ink Road. I white heat embossed the sentiment onto some black cardstock.

I wanted the letters to really pop so I ended up giving them a quick ombre effect with some watercolor. I used the No.95, which is the silver color from Gansi Tambi. I concentrated most of the color on the bottom of each letter and blended upward to about half. I made a quick frame using patterned paper from the Pink Paislee C'est La Vie collection and the Stitched Rectangles from Simon Says Stamp. I dressed up the card a touch with a bit of natural twine from May Arts and a few dusts of powder from my anti static pouch for that chalkboard look. I hope you give this a try. Coffee Pillow Boxes

Hello again! I'm here with a fun gift idea for your favorite coffee lovers. I'm up on the Ink Road blog as part of the Friday Feature for The Struggle is Real stamp set. Let's take another look at the boxes.

I loved making these! These pillow boxes are just the right size for some coffee and a sweet treat. Let's get right in to how I put these pillow boxes together.

I give the patterned paper full credit for my inspiration for this project, it is GORGEOUS! The paper is from the Turn the Page collection by Pink Paislee. I cut the 12x12 sheet of paper into 4, 6x6 pieces. I followed the steps using the We R Memory Keepers Pillow Box Punch Board to get the 4 boxes. I put the boxes together with some Scor-tape to make sure they wouldn't come apart.

I gold heat embossed the sentiment from The Struggle is Real stamp set from The Ink Road onto some navy cardstock. I used a circle die and a scalloped circle die from Sizzix to put the tags together. I added a gold glitter heart to the tag from the Crate Paper Cute Girl embellishments collection for some bling. Next, I added in the coffee and chocolate. Beautiful Soul

Hi again! I'm up on the Ink Road Blog sharing this colorful card with a sentiment that I absolutely adore.

I love how bright and cheery this card came out. Also, a lot easier to color than it looks. Let's jump right in to how I put it together.

I white heat embossed hearts from the Blended stamp set from The Ink Road onto some Canson cold press watercolor paper.

This is where all the fun is, watercoloring! I used the Jane Davenport Brights Watercolor Set. I just filled a few triangles from each heart with full pigment on the brush and then watered down my brush as I filled in more of the heart until it was done. No blending, just fill, water down, fill...fun, right? 

I wanted to add a bit of dimension to the hearts so I watercolored a quick shadow on the left side of the heart using that gorgeous light blue. The sentiment is from the #Beautifulmess stamp set from The Ink Road. I white heat embossed the sentiment onto some black cardstock and used the Stacked Pierced Banners from Create a Smile to die cut it. I used the Finished Frames dies to cut the watercolored panel and called it a day. I hope you give this a try, thanks so much for popping by. See you soon!

Hi there! I'm up on the Ink Road Blog again with a super cute way to use those awesome alpha stamps. These were so easy to make I decided to make a quick set. Let's get another look at the card.

A fun way to say thank you, and easy to mass produce. I have a few simple tips to lining those letters up. Let's jump right in.

I drew some lines with a permanent marker onto some acetate. I drew lines for portrait and landscape cards. This simple lined acetate makes using your hinged stamping tool that much easier to use. Just roll with me here...

I laid the lined acetate down on my card panel so the stamps stick to it first. I've always found that when I touch the stamps, they sometimes stick to my fingers and make it impossible to line them up. The acetate also makes it easier than lining the stamps up on the inside of your stamping tool. After you close the door to the stamping tool, the stamps stick easily and you can peel your lined acetate off to use again. For the sentiment, I used the Block Party Alphas stamp set from The Ink Road. I started with the bottom word and worked my way up.

I used this teeny tiny heart from the Full Circle stamp set for all of the punctuation. I also added the little girl from the Swanderful stamp set at the end of the sentiment. I added a drop of Nuvo Chrystal Drops in Sherbert Shimmer to the little girl's bow for some added shine. The patterned paper is from Crate Paper from the Cute Girl collection. Inked Fronds

Hi there! I'm up on the Ink Road blog today with a quick, colorful card to let someone know how much you appreciate them. Let's take another look at the card. 

I love these gorgeous palm fronds! This card is so easy to make and would be perfect to make some extra for a card set or to keep in your stash. Let's get right into it...

These pretty palms are from the Frond of You stamp set from The Ink Road. I used the larger frond stamp with some bright Distress Oxide inks in Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron, Wilted Violet, Worn Lipstick and Wild Honey. Easy peasy, right? Let's keep going...

I used some Galaxy Gold Brilliance pigment ink from Tsukineko to stamp the smaller fronds for a little shine. I trimmed the panel using the Finished Frames die from Avery Elle. For a touch more shine, I flicked some Gold Color Shine from Heidi Swapp. The sentiment is from the Compliments, Vol. 1 stamp set from The Ink Road and stamped in a little Versafine Onyx Black. Cat Balloons

Hello there! I'm up on the Ink Road Blog today sharing a fun way to stretch your stamps. Let's take a look at the entire card.

Cat balloons! This was such a fun card to make. Let's get right in to how I put the card together.

I stamped the cats from the Meow Mix stamp set from The Ink Road Stamps with some Memento Tuxedo black ink, cut them out and gave them a little color with some Copic markers. I added some twine to each cat to turn it into a balloon.

The fun patterned paper is from the Pink Paislee Birthday Bash 6x6 paper pad. I used the Dots & Dashes Rectangle die from Kennedy Grace Creations to die cut the patterned paper. That adorable Box Die is from Neat & Tangled and simply cut from some kraft cardstock.

I used the Scattered Surface background stamp from My Favorite Things and some Sea Glass ink from Simon Says Stamp to give the card front some added interest. I used different layers of foam tape to give the balloons some dimension, tied the twine together and adhered it inside the box with some Ranger Multi Medium Matte adhesive. The sentiment is from the Compliments, Vol. 1 stamp set from The Ink Road. I white heat embossed the sentiment onto some black cardstock, popped it up with foam tape and called it a day. 30 Day Coloring Challenge

I colored this adorable polar bear for Day 1 of the challenge. Let's take a look and then get into the details.

I used the polar bear from the Cool Day stamp set from My Favorite Things and gave him some color with Copics. I did some quick Distress Ink blending in Milled Lavender, Shaded Lilac, Salty Ocean, and Chipped Sapphire and white heat embossed the snowflakes from the Snowflake Flurry stamp set from MFT. I die cut the ink blended panel using the Cross Stitch Rectangle dies from MFT, added foam tape behind and panel and set it aside. I stamped more snowflakes onto the card base in Soft Lilac and Sea Glass inks from Altenew. I adhered the ink blended panel to the card base and added the beautiful Christmas Blessings sentiment from Simon Says Stamp.
