Spider Jar

Hello there. I can't help but get started on a bit of Halloween happiness so here is a fun card for today.
I felt like going with an unconventional color for Halloween so I went with some lovely blues. I stamped the jar from Sizzix Jar stamp/die combo and then cut a jar to use as a mask to lay the Distress Inks. I used the Trick or Treat stamp/die combo from Simon Says Stamp for the spiders and sentiment. I used Studio Calico Déjà Blue ink for the sentiment. For whatever reason, I went with a Copic marker for the lightest blue of the jar. If I were to make this card again, I would probably use Tumbled Glass Distress ink. I lightly adhered the jar mask and then used Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire for the background colors. I dropped a few water droplets to the background to remove a bit of color and then used some watered down gold Liquid Pearls from Ranger for the gold splatter. I used foam tape for some dimension for the sentiment. That's it for today. See you soon. Thanks for stopping by.

Purple & Yellow Birthday

Hi there! I have another simple card for today. I never have enough birthday cards. Let's start restocking the stash.
It's a Simon Says Stamp kinda day. I used the SSS Birthday Balloons stamp set with SSS Lavender ink. The stencil is from Heidi Swapp and I used Distress inks in Squeezed Lemonade, Shaded Lilac and Seedless Preserves. I cut the inky panel with Avery Elle's Custom Panels dies and popped it up with foam tape. I die cut the balloons with SSS Balloons die set out of some scrap cardstock that kinda matched the inked panel. The string for the balloons is from the Lawn Fawn Flying By mini stamp set stamped in SSS Smoke ink. Sequins are from Neat & Tangled. The card base is from Avery Elle in Orchid. It's not my favorite card but I'm sure someone would love it. Have a lovely day! See you soon.

Sunshine Unicorn

Hello there! I made this card with my daughter in mind. She loves unicorns and twinkle stars so this was made with her in my heart. Here's the card.
The stamp set is called Spectrum from Paper Smooches. I gave the unicorn a quick coloring with Copics but could have blended that blue out a bit more, sorry guys. Next time. I cut the labels with Avery Elle's Custom Panels die. I cut two labels for a touch of contrast and offset them and popped them up with foam tape. The tiny stars under the unicorn's feet are from Lawn Fawn's Blue Skies. I used SSS Sea Glass and Lemon Chiffon and SC Emerald City inks. The background paper and sequins are from Studio Calico. Easy stuff. Thanks for stopping by today.

Pink & Gray Hooray

Hello! I can't get enough of this awesome Studio Calico hooray stamp, so in love. Here's one more, I'll do my best to post from a different stamp set tomorrow but, no promises ;)
So feminine, isn't it? I love these two colors together. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder that coordinates with the Rock Princess Cricut cartridge. I inked up the inside of the folder with Simon Says Stamp Cotton Candy, carefully placed my card panel inside and ran it through my Big Shot. I cut the hooray panel with Avery Elle's Finished Frames, stamped the hooray with Cotton Candy first for the shadow and then with SSS Slate. I inked up the edges of this panel with Pumice Stone Distress ink and a mini ink blending tool. The twine is from Lawn Fawn called Cloudy. Sequins are from Neat & Tangled, Pink Lemonade Mix. I popped up the hooray panel with foam tape. Pretty simple today. See you soon, thanks for the visit!

Rainbow Hooray

Well hello there! I have another card using this gorgeous Studio Calico stamp set!
I'm in love with this stamp set! I just want to walk around with it on an acrylic block and an ink pad in my pocket and stamp hooray everywhere I go! Well, let's get to it. I used Studio Calico inks and did 2nd generation stamping for the rainbow of inks. Let's list the inks from the bottom and go up, Lime Light, Emerald City, Something Blue, Purple Rain, Flamingo, Orange County and Sunny Day. The black ink at the top is Versafine Onyx Black. The black grid background paper is from SC card kit for this month, Poet Society. Star sequins are SC as well. Easy peasy. Thanks for stopping by!

Hooray Engagement

Hello there! It's another Studio Calico day for me, I'm so in love with the stamp set. The kit is called Poet Society and it's this months kit. My lovely friend gave me this gorgeous cardstock from Paper Trey Ink so I ran home and made this right away! Here it is.
I love monochromatic cards. I went gold all the way. I used Tsukineko Galaxy Gold pigment ink for the background banners and sentiments. I gold heat embossed the giant hooray and finished the card with gold enamel dots. I used foam tape to pop up the panel and called it a day. Hope you like it. Thanks for visiting me today!

So Fresh

Hi! I thought I would throw in a healthy treat today because yesterday's card was so sweet! Here's a look a this juicy little guy.
What a cutie, right? I used mostly all Studio Calico today. The smaller panel I used Avery Elle's Finished Frames. The SC kit is called Bluegrass Farm and the little pear guy is from a stamp/die kit called Churros. Oh yeah, that little stripy star is from this month's kit called Poet Society. The inks in question would be Lime Light, Coral Bay and Doc Brown. I drew in the stems with a Copic marker on the smaller panel. I gave that peach ribbon a pass through my sewing machine and yes, I know it's a teeny bit off. I stamped the sentiment twice with the Doc Brown and then clear heat embossed it for some shine. Simple and easy. Thanks for popping by.
